MPJ is a socio-political pressure group and grassroots movement committed to fostering a peaceful society rooted in justice, constitutional values, and democracy. As an independent and non-partisan entity, MPJ advocates for people’s rights irrespective of ideology, religion, or economic interests. Adopting a rights-based approach, MPJ empowers individuals to understand and assert their rights, engaging with policymakers to ensure accountability and responsiveness. Campaigning through various methods, including public events, meetings, rallies, and legal tools, MPJ addresses issues affecting public interest.

The Founding
Born in Mumbai on March 27th, 2005, the Movement for Peace and Justice (MPJ) embarked on a mission as pure as it is vital: to weave a tapestry of peace in society by guaranteeing justice for all, guided by the golden threads of the Constitution and democratic values.
MPJ is registered as a non-governmental organisation under the Societies Registration Act and Bombay Public Trust Act. The details of the registration are here:
